Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.  – Psalm 96:3
Global Ministries Vision

Since Westover’s founding in 1948, obedience to the Great Commission has been of primary concern. From the beginning, Westover has sent and/or supported missionaries who are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission.

Westover’s primary global focus is to support people who are reaching into areas where there is little or no Gospel witness. Westover’s global family includes the support of international workers involved with serving in evangelism, leadership training, recruitment and development, church planting, Bible translation, medicine, education, aviation, radio, orphan care, and US based Para church Gospel ministries.

Westover’s “Global Vision” for the Next 5 Years

Our vision is to reach people and nations with the love of Jesus Christ through holistic ministry, which will include evangelism, discipleship, justice, compassion and mercy. Our desire is to “mirror” wherever possible and appropriate, strategic local ministries with similar global ministries among the nations.

Our focus will include:
• Refugees
• Orphans & HIV/AIDS
• Abolition!
• Disaster Relief (Urgent Response Team)
• 4/14 window - Children
• Technology (Internet, radio etc.)
• BAM (Business as Mission)

Pray for our Missionaries

In no other way can the believer become as fully involved with God’s work, especially the work of world evangelism, as in intercessory prayer. - Dick Eastman

Westover produces a monthly prayer calendar which contains daily prayer requests from our missionaries as well as articles and updates from the field.

Westover Orphan HIV/Aids Focus

During the Spring Global Ministries focus in May 2007, the body at Westover turned its focus to the global HIV/AIDS crisis. During this time, Westover targeted ways that we can make an impact on the lives of those affected by the pandemic that affects people of all nations in the world. This is an on-going global and local focus for Westover. For information click here.
