Local Focus
Westover partners with Higher Ground in reaching out to individuals who are suffering with HIV/AIDS in our community. We provide and eat lunch at Higher Ground (it is a day center) the first Tuesday and Wednesday of every month. This outreach also conducts a devotional bible study one Monday each month. Providing transportation to individuals in need is also a component of this ministry.
Higher Ground
- 1st Tuesday of each month: Help prepare and serve food 12 noon - 1:30 pm
- 1st Wednesday of each month: Serve food 12 noon - 1:30 pm
- 3rd Monday of each month: Participate in a devotional and brunch 10:30 - 12noon

Global Focus
During the Spring Global Ministries focus in May 2007, the body at Westover turned its focus to the global HIV/AIDS crisis. During this time, Westover targeted ways that we can make an impact on the lives of those affected by the pandemic that affects people of all nations in the world.
