Fire Power – Ladies Day
May 11 | 849 Smothers Rd, Madison, NC | 9am–12pm
Join the men of Westover to shoot skeet, trap, pistols, and rifles. If you have never shot and want to learn, this is a great opportunity! Fire Power offers an instruction on the safe handling and operational use of handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
More of a fisherman? There's also a pond on the property full of fish!
Please remember to bring cash and ear protection.
Cost (cash only):
- Range fee – $5/person
- Targets/clays – $4/round of 25
- Shotgun shell ammo – $10/box of 25

Pickleball for Beginners
Saturday, May 4 | 9am–12:30pm | Westover Gym
Pickleball started in 1965 and is one of the fastest growing sports in the US! Join us on May 4, and learn why it’s so popular!
We’ll begin with 30 minutes of game fundamentals – basic rules, lingo, keeping score, etc. Next, we’ll have some light refreshments and a short devotion. Finally, we’ll hit the court for a fun hour of practice under the helpful eye of a coach! Don’t have your own paddle? No worries! We’ll loan you one.
Cost: $5/person

Join us for a fun-filled day at Carowinds where we’ll ride some of the best coasters in the world and enjoy each other’s company!
Cost: Cost will vary depending on how many join in but will be in the range of $35 - $50/person plus food or a “bring-your-own” picnic.
