Overview
Prayer is a vital part of a growing church. As we talk and listen to God through prayer, we grow in our relationship with him. Prayer helps us practice humility, dependence on God, and submission to him. Psalm 62:8 commands us to "Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge."
God will release his power on earth if we ask. Prayer is THE most powerful and effective way you can minister to your friends, family, nation, and world. Friendships also deepen when we share our prayer needs, pray together and celebrate His grace, power and provision.
Matthew 11:28 says "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." James 5:16 also encourages us to “…pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective."
